Over recent years, I have largely divested from social media. This has been a big shift for someone who spent a large portion of their career in marketing and social media. Earlier this year, I deleted both my personal and business Meta accounts after being a user since 2006, which has been my entire adult and professional life. Scaling back has helped me cultivate better work and life balance, even as it has made it more challenging to market a new business.

This summer, I started creating more on TikTok, focusing on my coaching and astrology offers. Many on my email list have found my work through TikTok, and I am thankful for the people it has connected me with. It is difficult to know if that platform will be viable or sustainable in the long term.

With the ever-changing landscape of social media and the uncertain outlook of TikTok, I am adding more ways to connect with me and my work.

As many of us rethink our relationships with social media and look for more meaningful ways to connect, I believe it is important to have options that do not depend on a social app.

I have started a YouTube channel to make my content more accessible. You will be able to access that content through my website on the Blog + Resources page. I will also share videos through email updates.

I have also created a Discord server as a repository of my resources and updates. I will build out community features as I have the bandwidth, but I wanted to make this available now to those who use it.

Some aspects of managing this feel daunting, so I am going slowly. Let me know what resources/content you’d like to see in these spaces as they grow!
